Boy first game referee super Rugby

THERE IS ANOTHER FIRST THIS WEEK IN SUPER RUGBY.

This weekend Federico Anselmi of Argentina will referee his first Super Rugby match. It will be at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth when the Blues come from Auckland to play the local Kings. He is the second Argentinian to do so, following Francisco Pastrana.

Another first is for Egon Seconds, the former Super Rugby wing for the Stormers. He will be refereeing his first senior provincial match. In his playing days he played 69 provincial matches in South Africa, a strong and speedy wing. He referees the Pumas of Mpumalanga against the Welwitschias of Namibia in Ermelo.

All referees will want to congratulate these two referees and wish them well.
